East Side and West Side: Saginaw's Two Housing Stories
Saginaw and East Saginaw were separate cities until 1889, and you can still see it in the houses. Lumber-era homes cluster in Old Saginaw City on the west side, while the east side mixes big Victorian houses with worker cottages and post-war ranches.
A Saginaw home inspector has to read both. Our home inspection covers structure, roof, electrical, plumbing and heating, with infrared to find moisture and heat loss behind old plaster.
